Let’s face it any kind of change is hard and I think we’ve all had enough of that in 2020. Here are some tips that will make Dry January much easier for you and I know you will be happier by the end of it!


Read, Read, Read!

The more you educate yourself on how alcohol works and effects your body the easier it will be to quit. Also reading others stories in getting sober helps you realize you are not alone and there are many that can relate to what your feeling and thinking.

Throw it away!

The best thing you can do is ditch all the booze in your house. Out of sight, out of mind. Why torture yourself with putting temptation in your face. Just throw it away!

New Habits

One of the best ways to get rid of a bad habit is to replace it with a good one. You will want to replace it with something else that boosts your mood. Such as working out, reading, cooking, writing, drawing, etc. Anytime you would normally have a drink, whether after a long day at work or going out for the weekend, find something just as equally satisfying for you personally.
