Spiced & Toasted Almonds

Updated: Mar 15

I wanted to spice things up a bit and share a good snack recipe as opposed to the meal recipes I usually do.

If you're anything like me, then you probably struggle with feeling satisfied eating a handful of almonds. They just don't cut it for me. So I have created this delicious recipe that leaves you craving more!

It's so easy and tastes so good, it's hard to believe it's actually good for you!

This week I did a post on some of the great benefits almonds provide in sober recovery. In case you missed it, click the image below to see all the reasons you should start incorporating this to your weekly meal planning. Not only are there great benefits to nuts but the spices used in this recipe will take your healing to an entirely new level.

"In general, all spices, seasonings, and herbs have much greater concentrations of antioxidants than fruits & vegetables. Carbohydrates, fats, and meats tend to be relatively low in antioxidants, & many of these create inflammation."

Ingredient Benefits

Chile Powder is going to help with boosting your immunity, help aid in digestion, improve cognitive function, and can help improve heart health.

"Cinnamon, the powerhouse of the spices, with higher antioxidant properties than almost any other food." Not only that, but it is also great for weight management, helps balance blood sugar levels, lowers cholesterol, boosts memory, and is also a strong antibacterial & antifungal remedy."
